Federal Decree No. 11.815/2023 on the National Programme of Conversion of Degraded Pastures into Sustainable Agricultural and Forestry Production Systems

This decree establishes the National Programme of Conversion of Degraded Pastures into Sustainable Agricultural and Forestry Production Systems and its Interministerial Management Committee. The program must contribute to the fulfilment of the targets for recovering degraded pastures, reducing deforestation and recovering native vegetation set out in the international commitments made by the Government of the Federative Republic of Brazil and in Plans and Policies such as the Sectoral Plan for Adaptation to Climate Change and Low Carbon Emissions in Agriculture and Livestock, with a view to Sustainable Development (2020-2030) - ABC+ Plan.
