Law no 7/1999 on the environment

The objectives of the Law no. 7/1999 on the environment are to protect the environment from pollution in all its forms, to integrate the foundations of environmental protection in economic and social development plans, and to promote sustainable development of vital resources. This law deals with climate change through its objective and general principles, the special conditions of aerobic environment and environmental impact assessment, and reference to relevant international treaties.
