The National Agricultural Sector Investment Plan constitutes Mali's national planning framework for the agricultural sector for a ten year-period from 2015-2025. It is divdied into 5 programs which are expected to be developed through specific actions and activities listed under them. The 5 programs are Capacity Building, Investment, Production and competitiveness of agricultural sector, Training and Research, and Food Security, all of which are aimed objectives such as food and nutritional security, sustainable agriculture, and promoting agriculture as the source of economic growth and propverty reduction. The PNISA also identifies parameters against which the impacts and results of the actions on the agriculture sector are to be measured and evaluated.
