Summary

Pakistan's National Electricity Policy of 2021 proposes a three-pronged goal for the power sector, namely access to afforable energy, energy security (uninterrupted supply) and sustainable energy. The Policy does not set any specific targets or specific actions since implementation of the Policy is expected to take form under National Electricity Plans, prepared together with Provincial Governments.
