Pursuant to article 1, this Planning Scheme sets out the development of the Mekong Delta region for the 2021 - 2030 period with a vision towards 2050. The Plan lists climate change adaptation as one of its development viewpoints, overall objectives and specific goals. Such adaptation considerations are incorporated across the whole Plan within the agriculture, coastal zones and water sectors.&nbsp; Furthermore, section VII. is dedicated to climate change adaptation in the region specifically.&nbsp; It sets development objectives by 2030 for upper delta areas, mid-delta areas and coastal areas, and outlines a vision towards 2050, focusing on floods and water supply.&nbsp;
