The Climate Change Action Plan for the Tourism Sector addresses two main aspects of climate change: adaptation and mitigation, given the pivotal role of tourism in adaptation and GHGs mitigation.
The plan establishes the following actions: 1) to re-scale existing and planned actions to take account of their contribution to adaptation and/or mitigation; 2) to modify existing actions through climate proofing and/or by adding mitigation; 3) to develop new climate change actions.
