Summary

This law determine the conditions and procedure for introducing a state of emergency throughout the territory or in certain areas of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The aim of the state of emergency is to eliminate the circumstances that served as the basis for its introduction, ensure the safety of citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan and protect the constitutional order and territorial integrity of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Article 5 states that natural disasters can be circumstances that justify the introduction of the state of emergency.
