This roadmap aims to reduce fossil fuels by 44% in South Tarawa, 60% in Kiritimati, and 60% in the outer islands through the promotion of renewable energy and the increase of energy efficiency. It further seeks to promote and expand the use of renewable energy sources, particularly solar power, and integrate new technologies in the energy sector.
