Summary

This plan aims to secure Bangladesh's propserity by 2041, launching an economic transformation with actions that: increase growth by maximising resilience with loss and damage financing; strengthen employment in a green economy; promote well-being; secure resilience and energy independence and energy security. 

The plan includes an aim to reach 30% renewable energy by 2030 and up to 40% by 2041, with grid resilience and modernisation. It also sets out a "new economic vision for people-centric resilient growth", with plans to have 4.1 million new climate-resilience jobs by 2030. One of the key priority areas is the just transition of labour and future-proofing industry with technology transfer.
