The National Strategy for Risk and Disaster Management (SNGRC) is applicable during the 2016-2030 period. Its vision is a nation resilient to shocks, protected from all damage, in its social, cultural dimension , economic and environmental for sustainable development. The overall objective of the document is to make risk and disaster management a pillar of sustainable development. The strategy also aims to eliminate hunger, food insecurity and malnutrition. The goal is to make food production and livelihood systems more resilient to promote food and nutrition security for communities in the face of climate hazards.
