Belize's National Energy Policy 2023-2040 sets a long term agenda for the development of the energy sector, and envisages a low-carbon energy mix, used efficiently by consumers. In order to meet NDC targets, the policy promotes using international climate funding to provide clean energy incentives, and publishing a live public dashboard to track the emissions performance of the energy sector.
