The National Strategy for the Development of Green Hydrogen and its Derivatives in Tunisia (2024) aims to promote a green hydrogen industry, beginning with the domestic development of green ammonia for the fertiliser sector. The strategy aims to expand to hydrogen exports and green synthetic fuels in the longer term, exporting 6.3 megatonnes of hydrogen to the EU by 2050.
