Nigeria's Climate Change and Health National Adaptation Plan for 2025-2030 aims to address climate threats to health, including increased disease burden (from respiratory, vector-borne, water-borne and other forms) and mental health effects. The plan promotes measures at the governance and capacity-building level, to co-ordinate action across sectors, assess priorities and secure funding streams. It also promotes some direct priority interventions such as the renovation of medical facilities. The plan aims to mainstream climate adaptation across the health sector, including through education and training curricula at a range of levels.
