This Order defines the qualification criteria for exercising the activity of an independent verifier of GHG mitigation projects and identifies the managing entity of the qualification system under the Voluntary Carbon Market (VCM) established in Decree Law No. 4/2024. Carbon projects are subject to an initial validation process and a periodic verification process, by an independent, duly qualified verifier.
