Plan +SE, Plan for more energy security

The Plan +SE (Plan Más Seguridad Energética) is an initiative designed to enhance energy security amidst rising geopolitical tensions and market volatility. It aims to protect vulnerable consumers, strengthen strategic energy autonomy, and foster solidarity with other EU member states. The plan focuses on both immediate actions for the 2022/2023 winter and long-term structural improvements. Key measures include accelerating the consideration of climate change, the transition to renewable energy sources, promoting energy efficiency, and supporting consumers. The plan emphasises collaboration with stakeholders, including social agents, industry representatives, and government entities. It also aligns with the EU's Fit for 55 package and the RePowerEU plan, aiming to increase renewable energy targets and promote a more sustainable energy future. The Plan +SE is a dynamic document that will adapt to the evolving energy landscape and ensure Spain's energy security in the face of global challenges.
