Moldova's Programme for Promoting Green and Circular Economy (2024-2028) aims to mainstream environmental sustainability and circularity across sectors, with emphases on resilient agriculture and decarbonisation of the economy. Other elements of the incorporated action plan include eco-industrial parks for the development and implementation of sustainable technology; institution of new financial instruments such as green bonds; campaigns to influence consumer behaviour; and aims to continue adopting European Union environmental legislation, especially on waste management and energy efficiency.
