Summary

The purpose of this Royal Decree is to create carbon footprint, compensation and carbon dioxide (CO2) absorption projects. The creation of the registry aims to contribute to the reduction at the national level of greenhouse gas emissions to increase the absorption by carbon sinks in the national territory and to facilitate in this way the fulfilment of Spain's international commitments.
