The National Biodiversity Action Plan (2023-2027) in Thailand, adopted by the Cabinet on October 29, 2024, is implemented from 2023 to 2027 and sets out three main strategies and twelve national targets focused on strengthening conservation, promoting sustainable and equitable use of biodiversity, and mainstreaming biodiversity into national policies. Key targets include expanding protected areas, halting species extinction, supporting sustainable agriculture and tourism, and integrating biodiversity values into all sectors to align with the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework.
