This Plan aims at making use of clean fuel sources and and contributing to promoting national energy security and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The development of the gas industry is to be achieved consistently and efficiently through making use of domestic resources and promoting international cooperation. Next to capacity building, it also promotes investments and aims at establishing regulatory policies.<br><br>The Plan sets various development objectives for the period 2015 - 2035 in terms of gas production volume; import and and distribution of LNG; and development of gas consuming markets.<br><br>The Plan also outlines development pathways across different regions and provides an overview of the portfolio of main investment projects in the gas industry and the investment demand.<br><br>In order to achieve its development objectives, the Plan puts forward solutions. These concern:<br><br></div><ul><li>Management structure;</li><li>Investment;</li><li>Finance and financing arrangement;</li><li>Market;</li><li>Science and technology;</li><li>Capacity building;</li><li>Safety, environment and sustainable development;</li><li>National defence and security.</li></ul><div><br>
