<p>The National Strategy on Gender and Climate Change in the Central African Republic <em>(Stratégie Nationale Genre et Changements Climatiques de La République Centrafricaine 2023-2030)</em> outlines a comprehensive, five-axis approach to ensure gender and social inclusion are integrated into the nation's climate action. The first axis focuses on governance, coordination, and climate finance, aiming to strengthen the institutional framework and mobilize funding to integrate gender in all climate actions (Objective 1). The second axis targets specific actions in priority sectors like agriculture, water resources, and energy, with the goal of mainstreaming the gender and social inclusion approach into the design and monitoring of adaptation and mitigation programs (Objective 2). To build a qualified workforce, the third axis emphasizes capacity building and knowledge transfer, seeking to improve stakeholders' expertise in gender-responsive adaptation and mitigation (Objective 3). Axes four and five address critical social aspects: the fourth focuses on Information, awareness, and communication to enhance understanding of the gender-climate link among all stakeholders (Objective 4), while the fifth aims at the empowerment and climate leadership of women and vulnerable groups in a secure environment (Objective 5), supporting their participation and building their financial, material, and intellectual capacity to lead climate resilience efforts.</p>
