This programme lays the government's strategic plan for its mandate and was submitted to parliament. It notably promotes sustainable growth. Point 4.8 commits the government to environmental protection, and including sustainable forest management, climate change mitigation and adaptation. Point 6.2 stresses the need to foster the production and use of renewable energy sources. Point 6.5 encourages efficiency gains in the transport sector and improve railway tariffs as well as modernising the rolling stock.&nbsp;
