<p>The Strategic Plan guides Rwanda Energy Group's (REG) long-term operations in promoting the development of the energy sector and electricity generation, on behalf of the Rwandan government. It aims to meet or surpass 60% renewables in the energy mix by 2034, achieve 100% grid access for the population, and provide substantial physical and research infrastructure to support these targets. It notes the importance of climate-specific green financing, as mechanisms to achieve these targets.</p>
