This plan is coupled with the <a href="https://climate-laws.org/geographies/united-states-of-america/policies/10-year-wildfire-crisis-strategy-confronting-the-wildfire-crisis-a-strategy-for-protecting-communities-and-improving-resilience-in-america-s-forests">10-year wildfire crisis strategy</a>. It aims at reducing wildfire risk by improving fuel management treatments, monitoring hasardous fuels management effectiveness, and maintain investments. It also calls for a more strategic cooperation between federal agencies and local actors, to enhance geospatial mitigation planning, and to leverage existing authorities and resources.
