Summary

This Circular stipulates the roadmap for applying the mixing ratio of biofuels with traditional fuels for gasoline engines. The mixing of biofuels with diesel is not mandatory, though the use of such mixing is encouraged.


From 1 June 2026, unleaded gasoline must be mixed and prepared into E10 gasoline (10% ethanol content) for use in gasoline engines nationwide. E5RON92 gasoline (a mixture of 95% traditional RON92 gasoline and 5% bio-ethanol) shall continue to be prepared and mixed for use in gasoline engines until the end of 31 December 2030.
