Summary

This Act sets the legal framework around funds providing for compensatory afforestation. The rationale behind this Act is notably articulated around the concept of net present value that encompasses services such as flood moderation and carbon sequestration.

The document further creates the National Compensatory Afforestation Fund Management and Planning Authority (CAMPA) and sets its composition and powers.
