National Development Plan 2017 - 2021
Summary
The NPD 2017-2021 aims to set Chad towards an economic emerging trend, enhance human development factors, and strengthening governance. The core objectives of the Plan are formulated as following: 1) strengthening national unity; 2) strengthening good governance and the rule of law; 3) the development of a diversified and competitive economy; and 4) improving the quality of life of the Chadian population. Adaptation to climate change is a key component of the development strategies detailed in the plan. Within the 2030 vision framework laid out by President Debby, there will be two future NPD over the periods 2022-2026 and 2027-2030.
