Summary

The Industrial Strategy is a 10-year plan to increase business investment and grow the industries of the future in the UK. The Strategy will make it quicker and easier for business to invest and will provide the certainty and stability needed for long-term investment decisions. It encompasses 8 Sectoral Plans, amongst these a climate-relevant Clean Energy Industries Sector Plan.

This Strategy acknowledges that climate change creates new threats amidst shifting energy geopolitics, putting pressure on supply chains, necessitating climate adaptation measures, and accelerating the need for secure homegrown clean energy. Hence, the net zero transition is also creating new demand for a wide range of climate, clean energy, and environment services.
