<p>The Civil Nuclear Credit Program is a $6 billion strategic investment through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) to help preserve the existing U.S. reactor fleet. The government notably justifies the importance of investing in the country's fleet in order to achieve the carbon pollution-free electricity sector by 2035 and net-zero emissions economy-wide by 2050.</p>
