<p>The "PLANAVEG National Native Vegetation Recovery Plan 2025-2028" was adopted following its renewal at COP16 in October 2024 and aims to restore 12 million hectares of native vegetation in Brazil by 2030. The plan focuses on expanding and strengthening public policies, investment, and coordination among federal, state, and private actors to achieve this restoration target, particularly in compliance with Brazil’s environmental laws and international biodiversity commitments.</p>
