Act 2017:1201 on the Reduction of Greenhouse Gas Emissions by Mixing of Biofuels in Petrol and Diesel Fuels

This Act imposes imposes a greenhouse gas emission reduction obligation on fuel suppliers for petrol, diesel and aviation kerosene by a certain percentage each year to encourage the uptake of biofuels. It also sets up a supervisory authority which is determined by government and responsible for examining issues arising under the act and connected regulations, as well as compliance.
