Summary
The Strategic Framework for Economic Recovery and Sustainable Development (CREDD 2019-2023) operates on 5 axes for development in Mali. The fourth axis guarantees a healthy environment, builds resilience to climate change and focuses on sustainable development. Specific objectives and sub-objectives within this axis are are follows: a) participaroty management of renewable natural resources, b)integrated water resource management involving the role of Water Police and other infrstructural developments, c) promoting the use of innovtaitve technology for a green economy, and for sustainable production and consumption, d) improve water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), e) the promotion of a sustainable and modern and productive agricultural sector by strengthening land tenure, supporting small farmers, promoting agricultural entrepreneurship, improving technological capacities, etc. These objectives have been designed in accordance with the United Nations Agenda 2030 and the African Union Agenda 2063.
