Circular Economy Act (Kreislaufwirtschaftsgesetz - KrWG)
Summary
This Act promotes circular economy and the environmentally-compatible management of waste. It aims to conserve natural resources and to ensure the protection of human health and the environment in the generation and management of waste. It applies to the waste prevention, recovery, disposal other activities of waste management.
Section 2.(2)15 says that the following is in scope: carbon dioxide which, for the purpose of permanent storage, is captured and transported and stored in carbon dioxide storage installations, or is stored in research storage installations.
