Climate Change Adaptation Plan for the Health Sector

The Adaptation Plan for the Health Sector aims to strengthen the country's capacity in the to respond to the challenge of climate change, identifying and implementing measures in the short, medium and long term, which will allow to reduce the negative consequences that this phenomenon will cause on the population's health and ensure the proper functioning of health services and networks, considering the new climatic conditions and the projected impacts. The Plan identifies 8 lines of action and for each one it presents specific objectives and proposes adaptation measures.
