This decree suppresses the Ministry of Popular Power for Ecosocialism, Habitat and Housing and creates the Ministry of Popular Power for Habitat and Housing and the Ministry of Popular Power for Ecosocialism and Water; which will be under the coordination of the Sectoral Vice Presidency for the Development of Territorial Socialism.This decree states in article 10.9 that the Office of the Vice Minister or the Vice Minister of Ecosocialist Management of the Environment will have the following attributions: plan, articulate, coordinate and develop strategies, plans, programs and projects on Climate Change, including the representation of the Ministry prior approval of the highest authority, at the national and international level.
