Decree 14943/01 implementing the National Climate Change Program

This decree implements the National Program on Climate Change, dependent on the Secretariat of the Environment. It will be integrated by a National Council on Climate Change and a National Office of Climate Change, which will act jointly in the evaluation and implementation of the actions linked to the obligations assumed by the Republic of Paraguay within the Framework Agreement of the United Nations on Climate Change and the Kyoto Protocol. The Decree sets the administrative framework to make the Program effective.
