Decree No. 2020-2214

This decree directs the Minister of the Environment and Sustainable Development to: - Protect waterways - Preserve fauna and flora - Protect the coasts, estuaries, and marine life from erosion - Protect endangered specifies - Fight desertification and promote soil rejuvenation policies - Develop environmental education - Promote the forest economy via the sustainable use, ensuring the implementation of reforestation policy - Participate inthe implementation of water conservation policy - Manage a climate change monitoring mechanism and track climate change trends.
