Decree No. 541-20 creating National System for MRV of Greenhouse Gases

This Decree establishes the National System for Measurement, Reporting, and Verification of Greenhouse Gases of the Dominican Republic (MRV) to account for greenhouse gas emissions and implement mitigation actions to guarantee funding for climate action. The MRV system reports on the following aspects: National Greenhouse Gas Inventory System; System for registering greenhouse gas emission mitigation actions; and System for registering available and implemented support and financing aimed at mitigating greenhouse gases and adaptating to climate change.
