This Decree creates a presidential commission to identify as quickly as possible the vulnerabilities of major public infrastructure, which, by virtue of being built on sites that pose a greater risk of deterioration as a result of the extreme changes brought about by climate change. The Commission shall report to the President, by submitting bimonthly reports so that the President may instruct the competent institution to make the appropriate corrective measures to prevent possible damage. The Commission shall also recommend to the President that he updated the preventive and corrective technical maintenance polciies for all public works to establish minimum standards for the supervision and maintenance of works for public use.
