This law aims to guarantee and promote the development of the electric power industry, safeguard the lawful rights and interests of investors, companies and consumers of electric power and to guarantee safe operation. Article 5 stipulates that the State encourages and supports the generation of electricity through the use of renewable and clean energy resources.
