Nigeria's Electricity Act 2023 repeals the Electric Power Sector Reform Act No. 6 of 2005, and forms a comprehensive updated framework for the operation and development of the power sector. It contains provisions to guide and enhance the integration of renewable generation into the energy mix, actively promoting further research, legal frameworks and investment for renewables.
