The Energy Audits Act aims to promote energy efficiency in large companies and, to this end, imposes an obligation to conduct an energy audit at least every four years. The audit must include information about the companies' energy consumption and proposals for cost-effective measures to improve energy efficiency. The Act also sets up a supervisory body responsible for compliance.
