Summary

The Act lays the foundations for the introduction of binding and comprehensive heat planning in Germany. The aim is to make the heat supply carbon neutral. Alongside the heat planning obligation, the law sets the target of producing half of all grid-based heat in a climate-neutral way by 2030.
