The Policy Framework, issued by the Ministry of Environment, outlines the elements to be followed by Jordan to achieve the international targets of mitigating and adapting strategies by cooperating with other members of the Paris Agreement on Climate Change. The Policy Framework was designed following the issuance of the "Report of the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Paris Agreement on its third session, held in Glasgow from 31 October to 13 November 2021", Article 6.2 of the Guidance, and Rules on Article 6.4.  

The Policy Framework regulates the generation, authorization and transfer of Transferred Mitigation Outcomes (ITMOs), which must ensure transparency and governance and promote sustainable development.  

The document currently available for this Framework appears to be in draft form. We are searching for the finalised version of the Framework.
