- Law 112-00: Law on hydrocarbons
A fund has been established from tax on fossil fuel and petroleum derivatives, beginning in 2005. The tax is specifically allocated to be spent on programmes and projects for the development of renewable sources of energy at a national level, and for national energy efficiency programmes.
