The purpose of this Law is to generate promotion schemes for the use of electric and zero-emission vehicles, in order to contribute to sustainable mobility and the reduction of polluting emissions and greenhouse gases. It amends art.5 pargraph 5 of law 488/1988 to cap the taxation of electric vehicles to 1% of its commercial value. It sets other measures including the possibility for local authorities to promote EVs using a number of policy tools.

  • As of 2035, at least one hundred (100) percent of the vehicles purchased.Transport
  • As of 2033, at least eighty (80) percent of the vehicles purchased.Transport
