Summary
The State Budget for the year 2024 is approved by this law. It contains a number of climate-relevant clauses, including:
Art. 255 - Phase out of harmful exemptions in the matter of petroleum and energy products, which increases and redirects revenue for climate action. The article excludes biofuels, green hydrogen and other renewable gases.
Art 281 - Incentives to curb light-vehicles aiming at improving road security and reducing carbon emissions.
