The Law no 32/2010 on the electric sector modifies the institutional framework regulating the electricity market. Articles 2 (3) and 3 (1) aim at supporting the production and use of renewable energy, alongside enhanced energy efficiency. Article 28 sets preferable tariffs to small private producers and from industrial actors when the energy surplus can be sent to the grid.
