This law creates the Renewable Energy Authority of Libya (REAOL), in order to meet the governmental target of a 10 % share of the total energy mix coming from renewable energy sources by 2020. The Authority's mission is to implement renewable energy projects, encourage the private sector to engage in the market, edict a regulatory framework and identify priority areas.
