Law on Protection of Air from Pollution

This law charges relevant ministries and institutions with implementing measures to protect and improve air quality and the ozone layer. It ensures the right of citizens to live in an environment free of pollution and aims to mitigate climate change, by promoting the use of renewable energy sources and establishing, maintaining, and improving an integrated air quality management system in the country. This law is in line with Kosovo's obligations under international treaties on climate change mitigation.
