Summary

The overall vision for 2050 is for Mongolia to become a leading Asian country when it comes to its social development, economic growth and citizens’ quality of life. The vision for 2050 includes the objective to contribute to international efforts to mitigate climate change by developing a low emission, productive and inclusive green economy following three stages

  • Stage 1 (2021-2030) as a period to develop and establish a national green financing system and promote the use of environmentally friendly and clean technologies
  • Stage 2 (2031-2040) period in which smart consumption and production production should be developed, and increasing the internal and external sources of climate green financing
  • Stage 3 (2041-2050) continuously strengthen adaptation to climate change and improving the sustainable production and consumption
